MALAYSIA MY SECOND HOME

MM2H Application Requirement

To be eligible for the Visa Permit that allows participants a 10 year Social Visit Pass with Multiple Entry, applicants are required to meet the following requirements at various stages of the application process.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Upon Application

  • Letter of Application

  • Resume/Curriculum Vitae

  • Eight (8) coloured passport size photographs (blue background)

  • Police Clearance Certificate or Letter of Good Conduct from relevant authority

  • Certified copy of Marriage Certificate (if accompanied by spouse)

  • Certified copy of Birth Certificate (if accompanied by children)

  • Original copy of latest 3-month bank statements

  • Original copy of latest 3-month salary or pension statements

Upon Approval

  • Participant and dependent(s) are required to perform medical check-up at any private hospital or registered clinic in Malaysia.

  • Participant must obtain medical insurance from any insurance company that covers themselves while in Malaysia.

  • Approved applicant will be issued a Conditional Approval Letter in which he/she has to fulfill the remaining conditions within six (6) months from the date of the letter. 

UPON APPLICATION

Financial Requirement

  • Show proof of an Off-Shore Income of RM 40,000

  • Show proof of Liquid Assets of RM 1,500,000

Steps to take after obtain approval

  • Open a fixed deposit (FD) account of RM 1,000,000 at any bank in Malaysia. Additional RM 50,000 per dependent.

  • After a period of one year, participant can withdraw 50% of FD for house purchase, car purchase, and medical expenses.

  • From 2nd year onwards, the FD account should maintain the remaining 50% of the FD throughout the program.

  • Purchase medical insurance for main applicant and family if apply for whole family as well.

  • Body check-up for main applicant and family if apply for whole family as well.
